While ScHoolboy Q has chosen a few singles from Blank Face already, the rollout for his album has been anything but conventional. He released three parts to a movie prior to the album coming out, which play out like videos that happen to be some of the more street records on there. “JoHn Muir” is another standout, traveling back in time to Q’s younger days when he started gang bangin’.

As you can see from the video for the record, the point of view is shotgun through the streets over the course of a day, as everything is seen. From police brutality, to regular things like running up drive-thru’s, people playing basketball and doing donuts in parking lots. Unfortunately, the day ends in the worst way, when a car chase ends in a gun fight with rivals and folks dead.
